The middle east boasts abundant oil reserve, but it cannot determine it's own destiny. Due to various factors interacted, the Middle East is marginalized in the world arena after the end of the Cold War. The motive of the U.S. to control oil is different from that of Islam countries, while much different from that of radical groups in the Middle East. The oil benefit, related with economic equality, has exerted a profound pressure on material and ideational factors, which has infuriated Muslims in the Middle East and the world at large.
