半个月前，美国大选结果揭晓，产生了新一任总统。目前，美国全国上下都在谈论变革。这不禁使我想起，古代中国的经典之作《易经》（The Book of Change）说的就是变革。近代中国获得新生就因为经过了翻天覆地的变革。当代中国在30年前又义无反顾地抉择了新的变革——改革开放。

Half a month ago, Barack Obama was elected as the next president of the United States. America has voted for change. This reminds me of an ancient Chinese classic The Book of Change. During the modern period, China was reborn out of profound transformations. Thirty years ago, China decisively adopted the policy of reform and open- ing up. That was another vital choice China had made and it was a shared decision made by the 1.3 billion Chinese people.
