论20世纪中国文学城市叙事中的时间母题

Motive of Time in Urban Narrative of 20^(th) Century Chinese Literature

现代性是关于时间意识的观念性阐释,而城市则是现代性的载体与集中呈现。文学中的城市书写与现代性的时间观念紧密相连。时间,既规训了城市的演变和现代人的生存方式,也造成了城市文学叙事的多元化与异质性。20世纪中国文学中的城市叙事,一定程度上就是作家关于时间的体验与想象性的表达。时间成为文学中城市叙事的母题,同时母题有关时间的不同表达方式也带来了城市叙事审美上的嬗变。

Modernity is a notional interpretation of time awareness. Cities are the carrier and embodiment of modernity. Urban writing in literature and notion of time in modernity are closely mutually connected. Time not only disciplines urban transformations and life styles of modern people, but also produces the multiplicity and heterogeneity of urban narrative. The urban narrative in the 20th century Chinese literature is, in a sense, the writer’s experience of time and imaginary expressions. Time thus becomes the motive of urban narrative in literature. Meanwhile, various expressions of time bring about changes to the aesthetics of urban narrative.
