摘要
当我身处一个空间,便会用直觉来构想出另类的布景，人在其中会随着各种材料及空间如旋建般漂浮。设计的本质是千变万化的灵巧，所以我们不应该只从单一角度来设计，而应该考虑到人们在某空间移动时，光线的变化和室内的各种设计，怎样由前景转变成后景。
量度人的心灵是用深度而不是宽度，所以室内空间的大小不应该是用物质来量度，心来的空间应该能够超出物质空间的实际大小。现代室内设计工作，应具备一种有影响力及有激发性的灵魂。他不应该附在室内的物件上，但应该在室内对象的空间中存在。
Interiors are all intuitions.I look at a space and dream up altemative landscape,an atmosphere through which people will drift,propelled by the melodic composition of materials.I emphasise the dynamic nature of design and rather than planning a space from just one perspective,I consider the endiessly changing effects of light and shadow and the way in which foreground becomes background as people move through a room.
Depth not width shall be used to measure one＇s mind,as such,materials shall not be used to measure the dimensions of interior space,the “soul container”is more than the actual dimensions of the material plane.Modem interior design requires an influential and inspired soul.It shall not reside on the objects in the interior space,but in the space itself between the objects.
