The electronic spectra, infrared spectra, HNMR spectra and mass spectrum of the open - chain chelating agent H2L (2, 2' - (1,4 - ethylenedioxy) - dibenzhydroxamic acid) were studied in detail. The type of structural isomer and spectroscopic properties of the open - chain chelating agent H2L were also discussed in this paper.
