The article introduces the type of gauge adaptation and the basic computing equation by investigating the necessities of the gauge adaptation model and the model control principle, analyzes the gauge adaptation data collected. Based on the analyzing result and actual production process, the paper also has detailed investigation on the rule of long term adaptation, providing the first hand reference for the medium gauge control during actual prodnetion and ensuring the plate gauge control accuracy.
