Ideological political education has been taken as a predominant and traditional task in Chinese Communist Party. Strengthening and improving ideological political education in colleges is beneficial to actualize both the strategy of invigorating the country through science, technology and education and the strategy of reinvigorating China through human resource development. The paper discusses the rules and features of ideological political education in colleges, suggesting that countermeasures and steps to strengthen and improve such education.
