Strategies for Cultivating Senior Middle School Students' Interests under the New Geographical Curriculum Standards

《普通高中地理课程标准(实验)》的启动,对高中地理教育教学提出了新的要求,文章回顾高中地理教育教学现状,小结地理学科的特点和新课标实施的意义,分析学生学习兴趣的培养在实施新课标中的重要作用,并对日常地理教学中培养学生学习兴趣的途径进行了探讨.

The launching of ＂Curriculum Standard for Geography in Senior Middle School＂ has set new requirements for geographical teaching in senior middle schools. This article first makes a review on the present situation of geographical teaching, and then, makes a summary of the features of this course as well as the significance of the practice of the new curriculum standard. It analyzes the important role of cultivating students＇interest in carrying out the new curriculum standard and proposes some suggestive methods for cultivating the students＇learning interests in daily geography teaching.
