人为进化是从今人趋向后人的演变,是人类根据一定价值观对自身的未来做出抉择的自觉过程。在对待人为进化的问题上,存在增强身体与脱离身体这两种完全不同的取向。电子人艺术既是人为进化的产物,又表现了人们对于人为进化前景与结果的反思。

The artificial evolution stands for the development from human to posthuman, which is a conscious process by human＇ s choice among the possibilities in the future in the light of certain value system. There are two tendencies in the field of artificial evolution, namely, augmenting the body or escaping from it. The cyborg art not only acts as the result of artificial evolution, but also expresses people＇ s introspection on its foreground and effect.
