摘要
英语教学的目的不只是教给学生基本的语言知识,而应是使他们获得交际能力。关联理论能够指导教师在教学中帮助学生在交际中寻找关联,通过推理,认知交际意图,用英语成功进行交际。
The goal of English teaching is not only to teach students the linguistic knowledge, but also to help them acquire communicative ability. Relevance theory, which deals with how people, in the process of communication, infer the communicative intention by searching for the relevance, is of great significance to English teaching.
