摘要
Yaogan-4 and Yaogan-5 remote sensing satellites were launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center(JSLC)respectively by a LM-2D launch vehicle at 12:42(Beijing time)on December 1 and a LM-4B at 11:22(Beijing time)on December 15.Yaogan-4 is developed by Dongfanghong Satellite Co.Ltd,a subsidiary of China Academy of Space Technology(CAST) and Yaogan-5 is developed by CAST.The two satellites will be used for scientific research,land resources surveying,crop yield estimate and disaster prevention and relief.The satellites will have a positive role in the country's economic development.
