Almost equally mentioned in the legends of Chinese and Hebrew, the images of serpents in them share similarities in the positive aspects, while differences are still apparent. They are both connected with sex and religion in these two cultures. However, the ancient Chinese myth highlights the positive aspects of the Serpent while its counterpart in Hebrew myth is narrated in a negative tone. Religions and surrounding environments are responsible for such and other differences between Chinese and Hebrew cultures.
