摘要
雪莱和徐志摩同样热爱自由，追求理想，表现在他们诗中的是众多意象的契合，本文通过对他们诗歌中大量意象的比较，分析他们在精神气质上的异同，并进一步分析这之中的因由。
Percy Bysshe Shelley and Xu Zhimo were both great poets, one English and the other Chinese. Although different in nationality, they had something in common： they both loved freedom and had their own ideals they pursued all their life. Their resemblance can be shown by quite a lot of images adopted in their poems. This paper makes a comparison between the two poets by sorting out the similar images in their poems, and thereby sorting out their similarity and difference in temperament. It also makes an analysis of the reasons for the similarity and difference.
