TFTS in light of Relevant Translation Theory with The Banquet as an Example

影视翻译属于文学翻译,影视剧字幕的翻译对于文化交流起着关键性作用。本文以电影《夜宴》为例,试图从Sperber和Wilson关联理论和Gutt的翻译观角度,探讨影视剧字幕的翻译,指出影视剧字幕的翻译必须遵循关联原则。

The translation of film and TV plays belongs to literary translation, and the translation of film and TV plays subtitles （TFTS） plays a crucial role in cultural communication. With the examples of film The Banquet, the paper attempts to study TFTS from the perspective of relevance theory and points out that TFTS should be consistent with relevance theory.
