摘要
本文主要论述了阅读在基础英语教学——听、说、写、译几方面的作用。阅读是一项综合技能,它能促进学生积累词汇,培养语感,提高语言表达能力与写作能力。
This essay deals with the functions of reading in basic English teaching -listening ,speaking, writing and translating. Reading is a comprehensive skill, and it can raise the language feeling, thus increasing the vocabulary and improving the speaking and writing abilities.
