Because of the scarcity of some infrastructure, such as energy and road, Chinese government has enacted a statute based on the fair principle of ＂the more used, the more levied＂. This paper expounds in four parts that this reformation of fuel taxation will pose both opportunities and challenges to vehicle market, pointing that energy-saving vehicles with smaller displacement will become consumers＇ favorite and the reformation will promoting the R＆D in the field of vehicle energy-saving and new energy vehicles.
