建立健全家庭经济困难学生资助政策体系是我国各级政府实施民生工程的重要举措。高校在实施民生工程、做好学生资助工作的过程中,通过多渠道全方位政策宣传、积极改善工作方式和方法、努力拓展资助工作外延,充分发挥学生资助工作的育人功能,使国家实施民生工程的理念深入人心,教育和引导大学生树立社会主义核心价值观,确立诚信是金互助谦让的处世理念,养成自立自强敬业爱岗的品格,以参加公益劳动的方式积极奉献社会。

Establishing a sound system of financial aids to college students coming from low-income families is one of the essential measures in the ＂livelihood of citizen project＂ for government at all levels. In conducting the project, colleges and universities should adopt all-round policy propaganda, actively improve working methods, and exert to expand the range of financial aids, bringing into full play the educational function of financial aid to students. This embeds the concept of ＂livelihood of citizen project＂ into the heart of people, which can instruct students to establish the core socialist values, and certify the living principle of retaining honesty. In addition, the project can cultivate their sense of self-reliance and self-esteem, strengthen their responsibility and enthusiasm towards work, and repay society by attending volunteer and public activities.
