预防与控制信息交流(PACE):工作环境中危害因素的预防与控制──粉尘控制

PREVENTION AND CONTROL EXCHANGE(PACE) HAZARD PREVENTION AND CONTROL IN THE WORK ENVIROMENT-DUST CONTROL

为配合ILO／WHO全球消除矽肺的国际规划和突出强调一级预防的基础原则，WHO职业卫生处发起了一项名为“预防与控制信息交流——一粉尘控制”的计划．其长期目标是借助于必要的人类资源的开发，促进和增强各国在预防与控制工作环境中粉尘接触的能力。初期活动包括：针对“工作环境中危害因素预防与控制——粉尘控制”，准备一系列培训资料。包括：一个指导性文件，一些录像片和一些精选的出版物，并评价这些培训材料的作用和影响。欢迎有关人员提出批评意见和建议。

In view of its relevance to the initiative on joint ILO/WHO program of elimination of silicosis and the strong emphasis to primary prevention as one of its key principles,the Office of Occupational Health of WHO started and activity,entitled'Hazard Prevention and Control in the Work Environment-Dust Control'. Its long-term objective are to promote and strengthen national capabilities in the field of prevention and control of dust exposure in the work environment,by contributing to the development of the required human resources. Tbe initial steps are (1) the preparation of a guidelin, document on 'Hazard Prevention and Control in Work Environment-Dust Control' ; (2) the preparation of video (s) to illustrate preventive principles applicable to dust control,utilizing the visualization technique 'Picture Mix Exposrue-PIMEX' ; (3)evaluation of the usefulness and impactof the prepared educational materials,at the country level. Readers are kindly invited to provide comments and suggestions on the document outline,format and content,as well as their views on the usefulness of this document for training purposes.
