摘要
记录北海市的传统方言北海白话,内容分三个部分:一、社会概况,二、语音构成,三、同音字汇。北海白话跟广州白话不同的地方主要是:有边擦音[■](心母),有舌面前鼻音[■](日疑),没有撮口呼,鼻音韵尾错位,上去不分阴阳,全浊去声以及"浊上变去"的字归阳平。同音字汇收3800字。
This article is composed of three parts： a brief introduction to Baihai city, the phonetic constitution of Baihai djialect and its Homonyms. It also points out that Beihai dialect differs from Guangzhou dialect on several facts, namely lateral fricative [？], front lingual nasal？ [？], lacking of＂chuokouhu＂（撮口呼）, the alternation of nasal, as well as Qu Sheng（上声）words with voiced initials becoming Yangping（阳平） words.
