This paper expounds the latest theory ＂ Sense and Respond Logistics＂ which puts forward by U.S. Army in 2004. The study shows that the core thoughts of the theory include supply and demand nets, flexible supply chain, modularization and multifunction organization, decentralized resources, demand - oriented, and push - pull process. The essence of the theory is that a flexible military supply chain should be built. The thoughts give us some advices in joint logistics.
