试论昭卓两盟近代教育的兴办及其特点

On the Development and Characteristics of Modern Education in Joo Oda League and Jostu League

昭、卓两盟近代教育起步较早,具有明显的区域特征,在内蒙古近代教育兴起与发展史上具有一定的代表性。依据各种文献资料和档案资料的记载,昭、卓两盟在接近和了解西方以科学、民主为内涵的近代教育的同时,积极兴办新式学堂,广泛开展教育活动,使教育从形式到内容更加合理、科学,具有鲜明的民族与地区特点。这对当时思想的解放、民族的觉醒和社会的发展,都起到了积极的作用。

The modem education initiated early in Joo Oda League and Jostu League. It has certain characteristics in the history of the upsurge and development of the modem education in Inner Mongolia. According to the records in various documents and archive, the modem education of the West, which took science and democracy as its connotation, was approached and acknowledged in Joo Oda League and Jostu League. Meanwhile, many new schools were set up and the educational activities were launched widely in these two Leagues. The education became more reasonable and scientific from form to content so that a lot of talents were trained for establishing industries and saving the nation with science and technology. As a result, it had performed tremendous function in the liberation of ideology, the awakening of the people and the development of society as well. However, due to the effects of the time and the historical sources, the development of the modem education in Joo Oda League and Jostu League had distinct regional characteristics.
