According to the introduction of fire resistance limit of the steel structure and the failure mechanism, the paper discusses the design methods for the fire protection of the steel structure, some fireproof composite measures and some suggestions, and supplies reference for the wholeness of the steel structure design, so as to expend the application of the steel structure.
