The paper illustrates the definition and standards for the ecological city, introduces the urban construction and the ecological environment situation of the region according to the combination of the planning example of Wuqing region in Tianjin, analyzes the reasons for the increasing depravation of the ecological environment, and points out some respective measures, so as to realize the sustainable development of the urban construction.
