The Literature Review of Overseas Gentrification

绅士化是城市更新的一种方式。对城市生活空间重塑、居住空间分异、社会组织结构变迁及城市中心城区复兴有深刻影响。西方社会的绅士化已经有过一段很长的历史,关于绅士化研究的文献也很多。这些文献试图从不同的研究角度阐释绅士化的机制、过程、影响等。本文旨在介绍西方学者在各个时期,从不同角度对绅士化现象研究的成果。

Gentrification is a form of urban renewal. It has a profound impact on the reshaping of urban living space, living space diversity, the change of social and organizational structure, and the inner city revival. The gentrification of Western society has a long history. There are also many study literatures on gentrification. These literatures attempt to analysis or explain the mechanism, process and impact from different gentrification research type. This article aims to introduce the result of research on gentrification by Western scholars from different perspectives in different periods.
