基于K-L变换的水下激光成像弱目标检测

摘要 为了解决传统利用人造目标和背景在几何构成上的差别,或者利用人造目标和自然背景在图像灰度上的差别检测人造目标的不足,针对获得的水下激光图像对比度低、目标尺寸小及背景复杂等特点,利用正交变换的去相关特性,提出了一种基于K-L变换的水下激光图像弱小目标检测与描述方法。实验仿真结果表明,此方法可实现低信杂比条件下水下激光图像弱小目标的有效检测。 In altution to low contrast and small dimension of the underwater laser image and complexity of the background, a method of underwater laser imaging for dim targets detection and description based on K-L trans- form is put forward, taking advantage of decorrelation of orthogonal transformation. This method overcomes de- fects of the conventional target detection method which detects targets according to the difference of geometric construction or image gray between man-made targets and the natural background. The computer simulations proved that with the given method, dim targets can be effectively detected by underwater laser imaging under the condition of low signal-to-noise ratio.
