摘要
称谓语是社会语言学研究领域中不可或缺的一部分,称谓语具有反映某个民族的文化传统和历史积淀的功能。本文从父系关系、母系关系等方面比较了英、汉中不同的亲属称谓。并从英、汉民族的政治文化、经济文化,宗法制度入手分析了亲属称谓差异的原因。
Title terms play an indispensable role in social linguistics, which can reflect cultures, traditions and history of the countries. This paper compares the kinship terms in Chinese and English from patrilineal kin, matrilineal kin and other aspects. It further analyzes these differences from different cultures including the political ones, economic ones and patriarchal clan systems.
