The arti- cle, taking the ideology of military information and integration construction as the guidance and starting with the realization of the auto- matic map that shows the air situation in distance, analyzes the feasibility that computer technology will replace the traditional manual operation, proposes the method of realizing the military map that works in the VC ＋＋ environment with the help of MapX control, dis- cusses the basic way of realizing the military map in the VC ＋＋ environment with MapX and realizes the integration of distant air situation and information system.
