On Appointing Officials to Reclaim Wasteland in the Caowei Dynasty

实施屯田是曹魏政治、经济、军事战略的重要组成部分。曹魏屯田的规模大,不同地区均设置有农官进行专门的管理。郡级屯田农官设置表现为以下三个方面:内郡地区设一位或者两位专职典农;内郡地方官员代领或兼领屯田;部分边境地区,将军代领屯田。

Stationing troops to open up wasteland was an important part of Caowei＇s political, economic and military strategies. The scale of opening up wasteland was large in the Caowei Dynasty and the farming officials were appointed to administrate the work in various regions. The appointment of the county farming officials was manifested in the three aspects： one or two full -time farming officials were appointed in inner counties;opening up wasteland was administrated by the acting or part - time inner county magistrates;in some frontier regions, it was charged by generals.
