One picture is worth a thousand words. Picture demonstration is an effective teaching method and pictures can play various roles in teaching intensive reading. Pictures can be used to reproduce the historical scenes. Pictures can be utilized to indicate the geographical locations. Pictures can be employed to reinforce the visual sense of objects and animals. Pictures can be applied to act as a tourist guide. Pictures can be exploited to enhance the liveliness and vividness.
