人身识别是物证鉴定技术最重要的一项任务。随着科学技术的发展,关于人身识别的物证鉴识技术方法逐渐增多。在人类手指甲或脚趾甲的表面存在许多纵向且互相平行的凹凸纹痕,这些指甲表面的生长纹痕是否可以进行检验鉴定,成为人身识别的一种方法,有必要进行研究。

Personal identification is one of the most important tasks for the forensic science. Coupled with the development of the scientific technology, there are many kinds of methods about personal identification. It is necessary to study the fingernail marks on the surface of the growth patterns, for the reason that there are a lot of tactile marks which are vertical and parallel to each other on the surface of human fingernail or toenail, which could be a new method for personal identification.
