Health education in intravenous infusion among elderly patients with cardiovascular disease: Problems and countermeasures

目的:了解老年心血管病患者静脉输液健康教育中的问题,并加以解决,提高老年心血管病患者对静脉输液工作的满意率。方法:自行设计问卷,对227例住院的老年心血管病患者接受静脉输液治疗者进行调查,针对问题采取对策。结果:此项工作中存在的问题:宣教内容简单,对此项工作缺乏主动性,同时还存在专业知识不全面,管理上缺乏检查和督促。结论:静脉输液的健康教育是确保老年患者静脉输液安全的重要保证,也是提高老年心血管病患者对静脉输液工作满意率的前提。

Objective： To understand and solve the among elderly patients with cardiovascular disease. problems in health education in intravenous infusion Methods： An investigation was conducted with a self-designed questionnaire among 127 elderly cardiovascular disease patients receiving intravenous infu- sion, with the purpose of finding out specific problems concerning the education so as to adopt effective countermeasures. Results： Among the patients investigated, 88.9% considered the contents of the health education to be too simple, 50% thought of the nurses as lacking in initiative, 19.8% deemed the nurses short of expertise, and 41.3% thought that supervision had to be emphasized in the management of health education. Conclusion： Systematic, comprehensive and scientific health education in intrave- nous infusion plays an important role in ensuring the safety and improving the satisfaction rate of intrave- nous infusion among elderly patients with cardiovascular disease.
