Culture Capital and Social Status of Rural Transferors:A Inspiration into Pierre Boudieu's Culture Capital Theory

中国几十年来的城乡二元体制使得农村转移人员与城市市民在文化资本的分配上是不公平的,早期文化资本的贫乏及城市生存处境又使得农村转移人员难以累积新的、更多的文化资本,由此导致农村转移人员在城市的边缘性地位。教育是提高文化资本的重要途径,通过大力开展教育培训,以提高农村转移人员的文化资本,进而提升其社会地位。

＂The dual structure system between town and countryside in China lasting for a few decades, is resulting in the unjust distribution of culture capital between rural transferors and citizen, but the lack of culture capital in rural transferors decides that the possibility of improving their culture capital is very small, the situation leads to the marginal status of rural transferors in cities. Education is the important approach to improve culture capital, which can improve rural transferors＇ culture capital, then improve their social status by carrying out education and training energetically.
