摘要
《如此欢乐童年》是奥威尔晚期写作的回忆性自传散文,这篇散文蕴含着作者强烈的反特权意识。论文通过分析他对学校教师鞭子教育的憎恶、对阶级差异和阶级特权的反感、对强者规则的挑战来透视奥威尔对权力的批判态度,从而认识到奥威尔的这种反特权意识与其后期的反集权主义之间存在着一定的联系,这有助于理解奥威尔创作中的权力情结,以及贯穿奥威尔一生写作的有关权力的主题。
As I Please is an essay of George Orwell＇ s, which was written in his late years. The essay contains a strong anti-authority of the author＇s awareness. This paper is meant to analyze George Orwell＇ s Consciousness of Anti- authority from three perspectives ： he hates the teacher＇ s whip education; he rebels against the privileges of different classes ; he challenged the rule of giant. Through this analysis we recognize that ： there are some relations between the anti-authority and anti-totalitarianism. It will help us understand anti-authority of George Orwell＇ s awareness, and the theme of the relevant powers in his life writing
