Summary of the Third Taohua Island International Learning Workshop about Jin Yong's Novels in Zhoushan of China

第三届中国舟山桃花岛金庸小说国际学术研讨会于2008年9月召开,会议对金庸武侠小说的文化意蕴、创作渊源、重要作品及其主要人物的精神内蕴等,进行了多方面认真解读和深入剖析,同时对于武侠小说与武术文化关系、小说文本修改、传播及其研究史,以及金庸武侠小说的独特艺术手法等几个方面,展开热烈探讨,颇多新见。

The Third Taohua Island International Learning Workshop about Jin Yong＇s Novels in Zhoushan of China was convened in Sept. 2008. In this meeting, the culture content, creative sources, important works and key characters of Jin Yong＇s knight - errant fictions were carefully intepreted and deeply analyzed. Besides, the relationship between knight - errant novels and martial art culture, amendation and transmission of the novel texts and the history of study on the noves, as well as the unique artistic approach of Jin Yong＇s martial art novels, were lively discussed.
