Taking the project of basic surveying and mapping for emergency in post - disaster reconstruction in Longmenshan town, Pengzhou city as an example,this paper introduces the emergency surveying in its connotations and characteristics,resource allocation, project implementation, and quality control. The target is to give some reference in the next emergency surveying, so that we can provide geographic information services to society more quickly, more precisely and more perfectly.
