教学模式和课程设置与英语综合应用能力的相关性研究 被引量:2

An Experimental Study on the Development of Pragmatic Competence under Different Teaching Models and Syllabus Designs

摘要 根据教育部的要求,采用新的教学模式和课程设置对部分学生进行了英语技能分项教学,以求提高学生语言综合应用能力。通过与传统教学模式下的学生的两个学年的成绩进行SPSS数据对比分析,发现新的教学模式和课程设置对提高学生英语综合应用能力和自主学习能力确有一定的效果。 An experiment consisting of two teaching models is operated among some students of 2004 at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, conformed to the New College English Curriculum Requirements. According to the new teaching model, speaking, reading and writing, translation skills are taught respectively by different teachers; and the traditional teaching model focusing on the reading abilities is still carried through at the same time. A comparative analysis by means of SPSS is followed after their two years study. Research findings show that the teaching effects of the new teaching model and syllabus design enhance the students'pragmatic competence and autonomous learning to some extent.
