Korean Imperial Military Examination in the Yi Dynasty

朝韩武举学习我国宋代武举而创设,实施过程中又接受明之影响,更有自己的创造,学界对其研究却不够。在这里,仅就其创设过程中应试资格、考试程序、考试内容及除官等问题一一辨析,并指出其与中国武举的异同之处。

The Korean imperial military examination system is set up under the influence of China＇s Song and Ming dynasties ,and it also makes some improvements in the course of its implementation. The article introduces the establishment of the system,examinees＇ qualifications, procedures and contents of the examination ,and the appointment of officers. It also underlines the difference and similarity between China and Korea in this regard.
