摘要
在医学英语听说教学中运用原版影视作品进行教学,可以丰富该课程的教学内容,活跃授课方式,激发学生的学习兴趣,获得语言知识,训练语言技能,培养和提高学生的思维能力与创新能力,是实现英语听说教学目标的一种有效手段。作者在原版视频教学实践之后,对其优越性、课堂活动设计、选片标准、存在的问题及解决办法等几个方面进行探讨,旨在将其用于医学英语听说教学,指出原版视频用于医学英语听说教学是一种行之有效的方法,应该进行不断地探索。
Original English videos in EMP listening and speaking classes can enrich the teaching content of the course, provide diversity of presentation, inspire learners' motive to acquire linguistic knowledge and skills, and cultivate their competence of thinking and innovation. Therefore, it is one of the effective ways to achieve the teaching goals of EMP listening & speaking. Based on our two semesters' practice, this paper discusses the advantages of original English videos, classroom activity design, selection criteria, problems and solutions, aiming to better develop the teaching method which deserves further investigation.
