A Brief Analysis on Meanings and Cultural Connotations of the Words with "Mouth" in Wenchang Branch of Hainan Dialect

各民族方言不断融合和演变,形成今天众多的海南方言。海南话是海南方言中使用最广泛的一种,可作为探究海南文化的一个窗口。从"嘴"字及其常用词语入手,探究其不同于其它方言和普通话的意思和用法,可一窥海南文化的一隅。

The integrations and evolutions of the dialects of different nationalities are the main reasons of the formation of today＇ s various Hainan dialects. Hainan Dialect, which is most widely used among them, can be made to be an easy access to Hainan culture. This thesis pays attention to the words with ＂mouth＂ in them, investigating the meanings and usages, which are different from other dialects and Chinese Mandarin, so that a brief introduction to Hainan cultures could be made.
