摘要 新东方上市之后,资本的魔力迅速触动了教育行业每个人的神经,所有人都在寻找新的商业机会。过去3年里,一批崭露头角的教育企业高速增长,平均每年增长100%以上,有的甚至达到500%的增长率。教育企业拥有良好的盈利能力和现金流,从利润率上看,成熟的教育培训类公司利润率在15%-25%之间,而高端英语培训的净利润可以达到35%-40%。在经济危机的大背景下, The successful initial public offering (IPO) of New Oriental Education and Technology Group in 2006 gave strong impetus to China's education market, where new business opportunities were eagerly sought after. The past three years witnessed aforperiod of rapid development education companies, which have achieved an average annual growth beyond 100%. The profit margins were handsome as well. Under the pressure of the ongoing global financial crisis, education is one of those rare industries that remained lucrative and have attracted attention of various capitals. The first ten months of 2008 have already seen 18 investment events in the market, with a total sum exceeding US$285 million. In 2007, China's education market has reached the scale of US$143 billion, and is expected to hit US$200 billion before 2010. However, in spite of the promising outlook, few companies' revenue reached RMB1 billion (US$146 million). Some new companies even faced serious challenges after the rapid expansion enabled by venture capitals. Under high risks of policies and fierce homogenized competitions, not every player in the market will succeed. Insiders believe the present fragmented education market will be gradually grabbed by few ayears.giants in the coming ten 50 companies that can establish their own positions in the value chain and attract enough capitals in time take 80% of the market.And new opportunities and models will emerge as policies and market demands keep on shifting.
