2008年12月15日，高盛在华直投又下一城，12亿美元投资红狮水泥一事已经告成。据业内人士透露，业界一直盛传的浙江民营企业红狮控股集团（红狮）和高盛的合资项目终于获得商务部批复，高盛在合作过程中上调了入股资金，最终以1．2亿美元获得公司25％股份，此前传出的高盛入股资金是8000万美元。
On 15th Dec., Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. （GS） has completed another investment in China. It has invested $120 million in Hongshi Group Co. （Hongshi） successfully. People from the industry denoted that the cooperation project between Hongshi and GS has received regulatory approval from Ministry of Commerce of the People＇s Republic of China （MOFCOM）. During the cooperation process, GS has raised the purchasing price, and bought a 25% stake in Hongshi for $120 million finally. Hongshi and GS began communication as of October 2005.
