2008年12月12日，2008年度卡车大赛结束了最后一个分站赛——第6站威海站比赛，之后，卡车大赛组委会在北京举行福田欧曼·欧康杯第6届全国卡车大赛总决赛新闻发布会，宣布总决赛于2008年12月30日至2009年1月3日在广西北海举行。
The organizing committee of 2008 Foton Auman & Aucum Cup National Truck Race held the press conference on Dec.12,2008 in Beijing,announcing that the finals of this year's National Truck Race will be held in Beihai city,Guangxi province from Dec.30,2008,to Jan.3.Two European teams are going to participate in the finals,which will another highlight of the event.
