A Summary Commentary on the Development of Cultural Geography since the Reform in China

回顾和总结改革开放以来中国人文地理学发展的历程,可以初步归纳为1980年代的复兴阶段、1990年代以来的快速发展阶段,不同阶段具有其特定的背景、特征及其发展成就。作者认为今后我国人文地理学应进入提高阶段,当代中国人文地理学具有决策化、社会化、区域化、生态化、国际化等趋向。

This paper gives a summary commentary on the development of cultural geography since the reform in China and divides its development into two stages, the emerging stage of the 1980s and the quick development stage since the 1990s in which there are specific backgrounds, traits and achievements. The paper concludes that it will enter the stage of maturity with its own feature of development orientation, socialization, regionalization, eco-orientation and internationalization.
