北京奥运会已经胜利召开,有关奥运会的报道也随处可见。然而媒体对奥运会报道的体育术语的英文翻译有所不同,英语表达方式多种多样。对北京奥运会具有中国特色的词汇的翻译进行探讨,揭示中色英语存在的必要性以及翻译中的异化和归化的处理策略。

Beijing Olympic Games have been successfully opened and the reports of the Games can be seen almost everywhere, yet the English translation of the sports terms are different in the reports of the Olympic Games by different media. The paper discusses the translation of the terms with Chinese characteristics, reveals the necessity of the existence of China English and explores the strategy of foreignization and domestication in the process of translation.
