Summary of the Third International Seminar about JIN Yong's Novels

第三届中国舟山桃花岛金庸小说国际学术研讨会于2008年9月召开,会议对金庸武侠小说的文化意蕴、创作渊源、重要作品及其主要人物的精神内蕴等,进行了多方面认真解读和深入剖析,同时对于武侠小说与武术文化关系、小说文本修改、传播及其研究史,以及金庸武侠小说的独特艺术手法等几个方面,展开了热烈探讨,颇多新见。

The Third international seminar about JIN Yong＇s novels in Zhoushan,China, was held in Sept of 2008. This seminar conducted a subtle analysis and interpretation of their cultural connotation, creation sources, important works and spirit of important figures. And heated discussions were carried out on the relations between martial arts novels and martial arts culture, amendments of novel text, its dissemination and the history of his study as well as JIN Yong＇s unique artistic approach in the writing of martial arts novels, and new ideas were exchanged in the seminar.
