Phyllostachys bambusoides has been recently popular among people for the high economic value of culm, shoot and sheath shell. This paper expounds the effective cultivation technology for high yielding Phyllostachys bambusoides from the perspective of afforestation, young forests tending and mature stands cultivation, which will provide a technological support for the extension and development of the species.
