从1978年到1998年是对外汉语课程学科的确立时期。这个时期的国家政策作出了很大的调整,使得对外汉语教学走上了光明坦途。学科体系逐渐建立,课程设置也逐步走向合理和完善,开始走向科学化、规范化、标准化的道路,为对外汉语教学事业奠定了基础。

It is from 1978 to 1998 that the curriculum of Chinese as a foreign language has been established. At the stage, national policy has been adjusted thus teaching Chinese as a foreign language develops smoothly. Subject system has been perfected and reasonable gradually, approaching scientification, normalization and standardization, and has laid foundation for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
