面对国际信息化的大趋势,根据CNII的规划和中国的目前实际情况,必须找到适合中国国情的技术方案,所以我们提出了外交互多媒体数据广播的概念。外交互多媒体数据广播的概念是一种解决用户接入高速数据网络的方案,系统要能够支持互联网的各种有用信息的组织,管理并按一定编码方式调制后通过有线电视网络推送到用户,并通过电话回传提供灵活的上网和点播业务。其关键技术是利用宽带网络—CAIV的一个或几个频道,将组织好的多媒体信息和视频流信息推送到用户家中。系统每天可以广播数据数百GB,内容包括用户需要的各个领域的最新信息以及近交互教学课程、股票交易、视频点播、插播广告和语音广播等等,能够满足一定地域的用户的大多数需求。这是一种全新的、实用的、解决当前接入网的具体方案。

In such an intemationally informational society, it is necessaty to developed the technology suitable for China. We have proposed the concept of 'Extemal Interactive Multimedia Data Broadcasting' based in the CNⅡ' s plan and Chinese current situation. The EIMDB aims at the access to high - speed - data - network. The system manages and authorizes the information, then encodes it and modulates the data. In the end, the data are transmitted via CATV- broadband network to the users. The system also supplies the service on demand and visiting Internet using telephone line. The key technology makes use of the channels of CATV to transmit the multimedia information and video stream to the users. This system can broadcast hundreds GB of data everyday, including the popular information, local interactive education, stock business, VOD, advertisement and audio broadcasting etc. The system provides a modem and practical schemes which will profit the most.
