VEGF和metastin的表达与乳腺癌临床病理的关系

Expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and metastin and its correlation to clinicopathological features in breast carcinoma

摘要 目的分析血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和KISS-1基因编码产物metastin与乳腺癌生物学行为的关系。方法采用免疫组化SP法观察70例乳腺癌组织和癌周正常组织中VEGF和metastin的表达情况。结果VEGF在乳腺癌组织中的阳性表达率为88.6%(62/70),在癌旁正常组织中的阳性表达率为42.9%(30/70),两者比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.01);metastin在乳腺癌组织中的阳性表达率为30.0%(21/70),在癌旁正常组织中的阳性表达率为72.9%(51/70),两者比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。VEGF表达水平与乳腺癌肿瘤大小、TNM分期、淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05),metastin表达水平与乳腺癌TNM分期、淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05)。结论VEGF和metastin在乳腺癌发生、发展过程中发挥了一定的作用,VEGF与metastin表达水平的同时检测,对分析乳腺癌恶性程度和预后有重要意义。 Objective To analyse the relationship between expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and metastin and biological behaviour in breast carcinoma. Methods Expression of VEGF and metastin in 70 breast carcinomas and pare-cancerous tissue was observed by SP immunohistochemical method. Results Compared with the pare-cancerous tissue, expression of VEGF increased, but that of metastin decreased in cancer tissue ( P 〈 0.01 ). VEGF expression was related to tumor size, TNM stage and node metastasis ( P 〈 0.05 ), but metastin expression was only correlated with TNM stage and node metastasis (P〈0.05). Conclusion VEGF and metastin may play a role in the development and progression of breast carcinoma, and their detection is useful for evaluating the malignancy and prognosis of this condition.
