Along with the enhancement of the government＇s and people＇s safe consciousness and the rapid development of urban construction , civil air defense which is used for disaster prevention, anti-- disaster and air raid defense develops increasingly. Engineering staff are gradually working on design of civil air defense which is a special field . ventilation design of civil air defense basements is described, discussed and summarized by engineering example in this paper.
